Perfectly Aligned @ 8:44 PM
I raise my voice so you listen to me, so you can hear me, so you don't have to say: HARH? and I have to repeat what I said about three times and I get mad, whereby you say I have a bad attitude.
I get excited and emotional about stuff.
So what?
It's not as if your voice is very calming to the ears either.
You think you don't set me off when you start with your 'lectures'?
When I was young, I learnt what I had to do to make you
hear me.
Be noisy, be irritating.
10 years later and I still don't know what to do to make you
listen to me.
So my best option remains as to keep raising my voice.
You don't hear it the first time I say it, so I say it louder.
And if you want to take that as if I'm getting angry, fine.
Sure, I don't get angry the first time I do it.
But when you say stop with that tone, then what the hell am I supposed to do?
It's not even a damned tone!
It's the way I'm expressing myself.
And if you don't understand that, I don't see why I continue trying to be courteous and answer you.
I should just shut up after the first time I've said something and if you've missed it, too bad.
I hope this song will guide you home.
