Such Great Heights
(Click for Lyrics)

I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles
In our eyes are mirror images and when
We kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate that God himself
Did make us into corresponding shapes like
Puzzle pieces from the clay
True, it may seem like a stretch, but
Its thoughts like this that catch my troubled
Head when you're away when I am missing you to death
When you are out there on the road for
Several weeks of shows and when you scan
The radio, I hope this song will guide you home

They will see us waving from such great
Heights, 'come down now,' they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away,
'come down now,' but we'll stay...

I tried my best to leave this all on your
Machine but the persistent beat it sounded
Thin upon listening
That frankly will not fly. you will hear
The shrillest highs and lowest lows with
The windows down when this is guiding you home

The Melissa Effect ;

Melissa goes by Mel, Meli, Mel-chan, Moomoo, Sasa, intristique, intris, intri, Kirreli, Kirr, Cele, Bilis, etc.

She has been an NPCC Cadet, she has passed out this year. She has been the Unit Treasurer and Sec 4 NCO for 07-08.

She will remember the Kucheengs '06, Sunshines '05-08, NPDP '07 GOH 2, Crescent Raleigh '07, Brainstorm '07, Revivalists and -IKAN-s forever.

She is a Lolita, who is currently experimenting with crossdressing with dear little Hunny-sempai from Ouran.
So look out for her at EOY '08.

She has acknowledged that Edward Cullen is the ultimate fandom, and no actor in the world will ever be suitable for his role.

She loves to read. Especially manga.
W Juliet, Rosario+Vampire and Love Monster will always be some of her favorites ever.
VK, TGA†, Wild Ones, Hana Kimi, Shinigami Lovers, Ouran to name some more.

She is an aspiring writer, who would very much like her works to be appreciated.
Please do support her.

She is a huge fan of Indie, Alternative and many other genres of music.
Death Cab for Cutie, ATL, Owl City, The Postal Service, The Script, A.F.I, Cash Cash, Honor Society, Mayday Parade, Daphne, Hinder, One Point Star, One Night Only, Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, The Pipettes, +44, Sum 41, Tokio Hotel.
These bands dominate her iTunes.

And hey, Melissa wishes for stuff too.
Her absolute must-have is more music, baby!
She is currently doing online shopping, because she is too lazy to go out and find nice clothes/accessories.She would very much love GK clothes and accessories. Especially JAGK merch!
She will never get Matsumoto Jun, because he is just totally out of reach. But still she'd be a totally ecstatic fangirl.
Her ultimate loves are manga, chokers, shoes, accessories, shirts.

Honey, she can't get any more specific because you'd probably drop off your chair if you knew what other stuff she really wanted. c:
But hey, she doesn't need to get explicit for you to know that she really wants books by Jodi Picoult, Stephanie Meyer, Catherine Lim, Lian Hearn and any books from The Little Black Dress series. And of course you're welcome to introduce fabulous books to her. She'd definitely appreciate that.

Okay, this is awesome.
I really love this skin.

ANYWAY, about EL Oral.
I took my oral on 19 Aug.
The topic was Sports, for those people who aren't aware.
We must thank Ravishing for aiding us. :D
017 people should know what was going on then. HAHA.
Only 4 chances though.

Gosh. It was such a horrible turn of events.
Our examiners were supposed to be this Indian lady and this pregnant lady.
Well they seemed to be quite reasonable, but horror of horrors, the pregnant lady didn't turn up! :o
So we got a replacement teacher - from ACS, supposedly.

OKAY LET ME TELL YOU THAT THAT WAS THE BIGGEST MISMATCH EVER.

I ACTUALLY SAW THIS REPLACEMENT TEACHER BEFORE!
HE WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK US FOR CHI LC - and that wasn't too great an experience.
Seriously, the replacement invigilator looked like the next Calcium Barium Lead.
He was sweating like crap okay.
I'll tell you that most of us in 017 decided to walk towards the left, where the lady was sitting.

So I went to the lady too.
Awesome, I greeted them and she told me to begin reading even before I could touch the damn chair.
Well whatever, I still began reading after a while.
I made a mistake at the 3rd paragraph, and stupidly, I apologised to those two.
What a screw up.

I could tell they were probably bored out of their wits.
So anyway when we got to Picture Discussion, I was practically telling them anything I thought of.
AND I'M TELLING YOU HE WASNT LISTENING!
He was the one asking the questions, so HE should be listening more attentively!
The Indian lady was politely smiling and nodding her head, so I made eye contact with her most of the time and smiled.
Okay well finally, that guy looked up to ask me a question, "So, what do you think happened before ..."
When I looked up and stared at him he totally dropped his gaze lah.
I MEAN, EXCUSE ME, COULDN'T YOU FINISH THE DAMN QUESTION AND AT LEAST MAKE SOME EYE CONTACT!
AND HELLO, I JUST RELATED TO YOU WHAT I THOUGHT HAD GONE ON BEFORE THAT!
"I guess a football match has just ended because in the background there is a team that is walking back to the stands. This is imminent because they are all wearing jerseys.."
and the reply to his question after that was
"Like I said before...etc."
Okay so maybe my answer when he asked that wasn't very nice.
BUT YOU COULD LISTEN TO ME RIGHT!

WELL WHATEVER D<
He cut me off halfway anyway.
So moving to conversation.
"Have you ever been wrong about something?" (Or something along those lines)
Oh yes I have, absolutely! Etcetcetc. So I'd like to share what I've learnt -
"Do you believe that it is hard for people to admit their mistakes?"
Of course! If one is in a leadership position, it'd be hard to admit... etcetcetc. I personally have been in such a situation -
"Do you think that anyone can be good at sports?"
Of course! Natural ability does not count for anything if no effort - which should most ideally be derived from passion - is put in... etccetcetc. There are some people who have been practicing without much natural talent and -
"Do you think it is proper to say that boys are better than girls at sports?"
(Okay I had a pretty violent reaction to this one.)
Actually I believe this is an extremely unjust statement. Nothing is proven about true dominance between the sexes ... etcetcetc. And I feel that it cannot be easily -
"Thank you, you may go."

EH WTF.
OKAY THAT WAS SO NOT FAIR D:
I HAD SO MUCH MORE CRAP TO SAY!

GEEZ D<

I hope this song will guide you home.
