Such Great Heights (Click for Lyrics)
I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles
In our eyes are mirror images and when
We kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate that God himself
Did make us into corresponding shapes like
Puzzle pieces from the clay
True, it may seem like a stretch, but
Its thoughts like this that catch my troubled
Head when you're away when I am missing you to death
When you are out there on the road for
Several weeks of shows and when you scan
The radio, I hope this song will guide you home
They will see us waving from such great
Heights, 'come down now,' they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away,
'come down now,' but we'll stay...
I tried my best to leave this all on your
Machine but the persistent beat it sounded
Thin upon listening
That frankly will not fly. you will hear
The shrillest highs and lowest lows with
The windows down when this is guiding you home

MS POST(WO)MAN.
Hi. My name is Melissa.
I was born on 1st Nov 92. I am currently in 4S1, an oh-so-yellow Curian.
I am studying in ACJC now, and in 1SC4.
I love 8039. And they will always be a part of my life. 8039 was is awesome.
Melissa goes by Mel, Meli, Mel-chan, Moomoo, Sasa, intristique, intris, intri, Kirreli, Kirr, Cele, Bilis, etc.
She has been an NPCC Cadet, she has passed out this year. She has been the Unit Treasurer and Sec 4 NCO for 07-08.
She will remember the Kucheengs '06, Sunshines '05-08, NPDP '07 GOH 2, Crescent Raleigh '07, Brainstorm '07, Revivalists and -IKAN-s forever.
She is a Lolita, who is currently experimenting with crossdressing with dear little Hunny-sempai from Ouran. So look out for her at EOY '08.
She has acknowledged that Edward Cullen is the ultimate fandom, and no actor in the world will ever be suitable for his role.
She loves to read. Especially manga.
W Juliet, Rosario+Vampire and Love Monster will always be some of her favorites ever.
VK, TGA†, Wild Ones, Hana Kimi, Shinigami Lovers, Ouran to name some more.
She is an aspiring writer, who would very much like her works to be appreciated.
Please do support her.
She is a huge fan of Indie, Alternative and many other genres of music. Death Cab for Cutie, ATL, Owl City, The Postal Service, The Script, A.F.I, Cash Cash, Honor Society, Mayday Parade, Daphne, Hinder, One Point Star, One Night Only, Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, The Pipettes, +44, Sum 41, Tokio Hotel.
These bands dominate her iTunes.
And hey, Melissa wishes for stuff too.
Her absolute must-have is more music, baby!
She is currently doing online shopping, because she is too lazy to go out and find nice clothes/accessories.She would very much love GK clothes and accessories. Especially JAGK merch!
She will never get Matsumoto Jun, because he is just totally out of reach. But still she'd be a totally ecstatic fangirl.
Her ultimate loves are manga, chokers, shoes, accessories, shirts.
Honey, she can't get any more specific because you'd probably drop off your chair if you knew what other stuff she really wanted. c:
But hey, she doesn't need to get explicit for you to know that she really wants books by Jodi Picoult, Stephanie Meyer, Catherine Lim, Lian Hearn and any books from The Little Black Dress series.
And of course you're welcome to introduce fabulous books to her. She'd definitely appreciate that.
HAHA OKAY I NEVER EXPECTED THAT TO EVER HAPPEN. As in, there was this guy who kept talking to me in Indonesian(I'm guessing ._. I really had no idea what he was talking about.) So I kept on saying: Huh? o_o
OH WELL. It was damn funny. Especially after 2 days with absolutely zilch requests, today I get three. Making up for lost time huh? I don't know whether OM was serious, so I just disregarded it. :/ But anyway the quiz is seriously screwed D; I have no idea how I'm supposed to answer the question if it doesn't change while the answers do. Still, it was damn funny when Oblivion kept asking me stuff. I seriously didn't see anything cause the quiz box was blocking my view. OM wasn't around, so I took my time. I tried to buy myself more time but I screwed up really badly when I accidentally MOVED my character. Talk about the biggest slip up of the month. So I ended up having to answer.
Well I ended up being in a tight situation. Damn it. ;/ Cause OM came back and I couldn't exactly do Group Dance. == Still, right now I'm kind of happy I made that choice. Maybe the slip up wasn't so colossal after all. Standing at 170cm and 48kg. I must say I'm impressed. Semb and CCHS. WOW. ;D LET ME SAY I TOTALLY HATE CCHS PAPERS. And for once, I get one that's literate. Talk about my luck. I didn't get a freaking twit. Iie hatexx twiitx anndd dheiir wayyx 0f talkkiinqq. Iie w0nderr h0w dheyy cn actuallyy readd dheiir crappx sh0 fasttx. AND LOL IS THERE ANYTHING WRONG FOR ME TO PLAY FF?! AT LEAST I NVR SAY I PLAY GTA, LOL. I BET OBLIVION WOULD BE LIKE ZOMG O_O FUNNEH. ;D Why does everyone recommend DJMax ._. I shall download it next time .____.
But then, however good a catch is, there're none that will just take it subtly. They're all over it the instant you agree. After the initial unsureness of the situation, boldness comes into the equation. I guess I should've expected it. But maybe because I haven't tried it for so long, I didn't.
I'm very glad I made that decision now.
The alluring rose is so sweet. :D I love it because it gives me loads of vita+high. But it's only because of that which negated the stupid thunder bolts == I GOT STRUCK TWICE OKAY! LUCKY I GOT 3 ROSES BACK. OR ELSE ==
OH LOOK I GOT A PERF STEP ONCE:D
HAHA OKAY QUESTION FROM THE QUIZ! (LEAVE A TAG TO REPLY TO IT) 4 men were in a boat on a river. Suddenly, the boat capsized. Yet not a single man was wet. Why?
I hope this song will guide you home.

ZOMG I WILL TELL YOU TO READ THE TALE OF GENJI. IT IS SO GREAT:D One thing though, it's about the Heian era and there will be Mature references. If you're lazy to actually read through 54 chapters of the novel, go read the manga. I forgot the name of it in Jap but just search ;D
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY tomorrow is Teachers' Day so there won't be Prelims. But they'll continue after the holidays. :/ (What a nice tactic to MAKE us spend our holidays to study instead of frolicking around.) STILL I REALLY WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO MRS GEK, BECAUSE SHE'S ACTUALLY THE BEST TEACHER THAT I'VE EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER HAD. :D I miss being your AMath rep so much D: (Okay Bec, I'm finally forgiving you for that, but because she's not our AMath teacher this year, I'm going to blame you again.) THANK YOU: Mrs Gek:D, Mr Ravi-shing, Ms Lee, Mrs Rupa, Mdm Tng, Ms Ang, Ms Chua, Mdm Kwan, Mr Samat, Mrs Yip & Ms Azilah :D As well as any other teacher who has taught us before. c: I promise that I will do my best for O's and repay you all for your hard work. c: (Especially Mrs Gek!)
THE TALE OF GENJI -SPOILER- STILL, HIKARI GENJI ISN'T ALL THAT COOL. I bet all those women slept with him cause they wanted to get laid by the Emperor. I pity Murasaki-no-ue for even loving him. :/ To never voice her own opinions about how she hates it when he leaves her at night just to go to another woman's house. Wow. :/
I hope this song will guide you home.

To those people who know what was supposed to happen on 20/6/08 which of course, never occurred:
I wonder if you all still remember. I haven't forgotten it yet, and I'm seriously wondering what happened that day. Well, I shouldn't have, but I checked. S-san was actually around. Well not at the same time as me, but S-san was really around. The messages were read and the avatar was different. I'm telling you this because I won't be able to do this by myself. I hope that if you people actually go, and you see S-san, please say, "Mel was waiting. And she still is."
Now I'm only praying on someone to see S-san. And if by some miracle of some merciful celestial being you do see S-san, also convince S-san to make an MSN account and ask about when S-san will be around.
Sounds corny? Well, shut up. :/ I can't figure out any other way to say it. If I say something like, you're such an idiot, what's that going to help with anything?! S-san is a great person. I doubt many people are like S-san. :/
"Don't you feed me lines about some idealistic future. Your heart won't heal right if you keep tearing out the sutures."

Hello I screwed my SS paper today because I spent too long on SEQ. That's all I have to say about it. Bio was okay. I guess I couldn't have done much better even if I studied longer, it was mostly about analysing and thinking skills. Except for that stupid placenta question by which I changed my answer at the end from the right one. ._. DANG. D< I think the Bio paper this time tended to the hard side :/ But still it was doable, what was scary was that Sophie said it was ... hard. And that she screwed it. (But then again that's what smart people say to make other people feel better) AHHHHHHHH D: Okay let me tell you I was freaked out during P1 because while I was doing Qn 33, Charlotte was practically sleeping. I was like @_@ ZOMG IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME, HOW COME SHE FINISHED SO FAST.
Well hey, tomorrow's AMath paper. I used to be so confident of AMath last year, but I guess since Mrs Gek stopped teaching us, I started falling back in Differentiation of Trigo and Exponential functions as well as Integration. Oh man. I miss you as our AMath teacher, Mrs Gek. D: Having you for EMaths isn't enough! I shall visualise and believe that she is both our AMath and EMath teacher so that I will do both properly and well.
Bec, I still say S-----a is a stupidass. HAHA.
Oh anyway, I'd like to thank my dear Moby for trying to cheer me up with Jazz:D I love Jazz, totally, she's so cute. ;D And I really think it serves you right that she spoils your keyboard all the time. You still owe me pictures anyway, but I really want to thank you for indulging me sometimes. xD NOWNOW, MOBY, GET ME THE zOMG BOX! HAHA. xD

Are you out there? Where the rainy days begin To feel rather sad and walls are closing in like the darkness around me It's so hard to look away when the daylight doesn't ever stay Above this dull apartment view oh I will surround you It's quite clear that I'm stuck here So I'll devise a plan and cut out a door in my new living room floor The porch light is so bright That I will quickly sneak down the dark metal shape of the rusty fire escape I bought a one-way ticket (first-class) Cuz I knew I'd never see the ground Unless I was aboard a jet plane and we were going down When I wiped the tears from my eyes, the warm water took me by surprise And I woke up beside the ocean and I realized I must be in California
Aloha, my happy west coast friends Do you feel alive when the breaking waves arrive and rush all around you? The beach homes in Oceanside are quite well-known by the evening tide And we can sleep where we reside with redwoods around us The blue air is up there and could I bring it down, I'd bottle it up and save it for a sweet summer night
I bought a one-way ticket (first-class) Cuz I knew I'd never see the ground Unless I was aboard a jet plane and we were going down When I wiped the tears from my eyes, the warm water took me by surprise And I woke up beside the ocean and I realized I must be in California
I must be in California Am I awake or is this just a dream? The New Year is out here and I will make a lovely list of your charms So I'll never feel alone in your arms I must be in California
I must be in California Oh my dear, I can feel you here

Just stellar performance, Ms Seah ;D If you don't know where to look out for it, listen ESPECIALLY CLOSELY at the 51 second mark. And to those people who believe that she should take the heat for uttering this profanity, please, are you yourselves such saints? Tell me you've never felt such anger or any strong emotion that you felt that you needed to scold/scream something. Maybe fish, shit, screw that, damn.. etc. Well I don't really care what you say, as long as you yourself know that it's true. You know what? Words are based on people's perception on them. Sure, school doesn't teach that, but for all you know, 'corn' might have been a bad word until someone decided that it was the name for a crop plant. And look, there's this crop plant named the "rape" crop, so what, does that mean that whenever a celebrity wants to purchase a "rape" crop, they'll have to be fired and removed? It could've happened to anyone. Geez. I'll bet if your thoughts could be heard by all, there'd be some vulgarities in there, wouldn't there? :/ Innocent words with the intent/tone to insult are just as bad, mind you. c: Was she scolding you people? Well if you want to take it that way, I think you'd better dream on.
P.S. To those who believe she does horrible commentaries: If you can do better, will we see you 4 years from now at the next Olympics? If you believe you can, and you really do succeed, that wins you bragging rights. For now, shut up and just deal with it. She's there and you aren't.
Well okay. So ytd I was super pissed off with the bus driver :/ I was flagging the bus okay! I mean, yeah, it's just my luck that three buses came in a row and 75 just happened to be at the back of them all. THE BUS DRIVER COULD'VE AT LEAST STOPPED RIGHT! When he just turned out of the bus lane, I was like : OMF, WTH! And this lady was super friendly. She just came over and asked me whether I was waiting for 75 too. HAHA.

Okay, this is awesome. I really love this skin.
ANYWAY, about EL Oral. I took my oral on 19 Aug. The topic was Sports, for those people who aren't aware. We must thank Ravishing for aiding us. :D 017 people should know what was going on then. HAHA. Only 4 chances though.
Gosh. It was such a horrible turn of events. Our examiners were supposed to be this Indian lady and this pregnant lady. Well they seemed to be quite reasonable, but horror of horrors, the pregnant lady didn't turn up! :o So we got a replacement teacher - from ACS, supposedly.
OKAY LET ME TELL YOU THAT THAT WAS THE BIGGEST MISMATCH EVER.
I ACTUALLY SAW THIS REPLACEMENT TEACHER BEFORE! HE WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK US FOR CHI LC - and that wasn't too great an experience. Seriously, the replacement invigilator looked like the next Calcium Barium Lead. He was sweating like crap okay. I'll tell you that most of us in 017 decided to walk towards the left, where the lady was sitting.
So I went to the lady too. Awesome, I greeted them and she told me to begin reading even before I could touch the damn chair. Well whatever, I still began reading after a while. I made a mistake at the 3rd paragraph, and stupidly, I apologised to those two. What a screw up.
I could tell they were probably bored out of their wits. So anyway when we got to Picture Discussion, I was practically telling them anything I thought of. AND I'M TELLING YOU HE WASNT LISTENING! He was the one asking the questions, so HE should be listening more attentively! The Indian lady was politely smiling and nodding her head, so I made eye contact with her most of the time and smiled. Okay well finally, that guy looked up to ask me a question, "So, what do you think happened before ..." When I looked up and stared at him he totally dropped his gaze lah. I MEAN, EXCUSE ME, COULDN'T YOU FINISH THE DAMN QUESTION AND AT LEAST MAKE SOME EYE CONTACT! AND HELLO, I JUST RELATED TO YOU WHAT I THOUGHT HAD GONE ON BEFORE THAT! "I guess a football match has just ended because in the background there is a team that is walking back to the stands. This is imminent because they are all wearing jerseys.." and the reply to his question after that was "Like I said before...etc." Okay so maybe my answer when he asked that wasn't very nice. BUT YOU COULD LISTEN TO ME RIGHT!
WELL WHATEVER D< He cut me off halfway anyway. So moving to conversation. "Have you ever been wrong about something?" (Or something along those lines) Oh yes I have, absolutely! Etcetcetc. So I'd like to share what I've learnt - "Do you believe that it is hard for people to admit their mistakes?" Of course! If one is in a leadership position, it'd be hard to admit... etcetcetc. I personally have been in such a situation - "Do you think that anyone can be good at sports?" Of course! Natural ability does not count for anything if no effort - which should most ideally be derived from passion - is put in... etccetcetc. There are some people who have been practicing without much natural talent and - "Do you think it is proper to say that boys are better than girls at sports?" (Okay I had a pretty violent reaction to this one.) Actually I believe this is an extremely unjust statement. Nothing is proven about true dominance between the sexes ... etcetcetc. And I feel that it cannot be easily - "Thank you, you may go."
EH WTF. OKAY THAT WAS SO NOT FAIR D: I HAD SO MUCH MORE CRAP TO SAY!
GEEZ D<
I hope this song will guide you home.
